A New Business Relationship is Formed
Through a consulting network, Derr is doing consulting work with a dentist based in Omaha, NE, whos’ clinics sees a high volume of emergency patients within his practice group. Derr has an idea of creating clinics that are centered around dental triage. For two years, Derr works on creating and implementing this idea into a full clinic concept.

Joyce Mlynarik joins the Emergency Dental team and moves through the ranks to become the Head of Operations in 2013.

Derr works out an arrangement to open the first Emergency Dental clinic of its kind in Omaha, NE.

New Partner & founder Dr. Roberto Monteagudo
Jared meets Dr. Monteagudo in Omaha to discuss another business opportunity. Dr. Monteagudo is a practicing dentist with many years of clinical and business experience in dentistry. One day, while visiting the Omaha Emergency Dental clinic, he is astonished by the volume of emergency patients being seen on the day of his visit. His curiosity of the concept and a quickly developing friendship with Derr, leads to a new partnership with intentions of opening a Milwaukee, WI location.
